Los Angeles magazine was off to the races as the sponsor of the Fascinators and Fedoras fashion event at the 29th Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Santa Anita Park on November 2 and 3, 2012. The contest crowns the lady with the best fascinator and the gentleman with the best fedora in attendance. Los Angeles magazine style editor, Linda Immediato, joined a distinguished panel of judges to evaluate the high-style headgear. Gemma Hassett and Mike Tippett were named the contest winners beating out a field of 750 contestants. Hassett, donned a fire orange Fiona Mangan fascinator, and Tippett, sported a cowboy-hat inspired fedora. Both took home a $5,000 Westfield Mall gift card.
