Concern Foundation’s 38th Annual Block Party
Los Angeles magazine partnered with the Concern Foundation for Cancer Research for the eighth year in a row to host the 38th Annual “Oh What a Night!” Block Party. The evening event celebrated Los Angeles magazine’s Best of LA® 2012 August issue. “Oh What a Night!” honored Lance Freed and featured entertainment on four stages, live and silent auctions, 50 restaurants and catering tastings, and wine, beer, cocktails, coffee and dessert stations.
Los Angeles magazine outfitted the Best of LA® street with casino style gaming sponsored by TANQUERAY, a Cadillac 2013 XTS experience, body assessments from Equinox, and samples from Clif and Luna bar. With the support of these sponsors, Los Angeles magazine donated $25,000 to Concern Foundation. This substantial donation helped Concern raise $1.5 million overall for the night, exceeding expectations.
