The fine dining scene along this kosher corridor has looked a bit wan, but thanks to Alex Reznik, there’s new life. The former Top Chef star channels his Brooklyn upbringing with corned beef tongue on brioche and caper-topped whitefish rillettes with toasted bagel chips. Soft pretzels—sprinkled with salt and served with sinus-clearing mustard—remind us of trips to the ballpark. Velvety steak frites will please the traditional chophouse crowd. Snag one of the leather booths in the rear dining room. We only wish the drinks menu weren’t so minuscule, especially at a place with “cocktail” in the name. » 8731 W.
