Hollywood: The Know Where, a new bar on Hollywood near Wilton, has been serving since late August, reports Eater L.A. It’s from designer Ben Adams, who’s better known for his work at the Chateau Marmont. Though food is not yet available, a menu of bar bites will be introduced next week. » The Know Where, 5634 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, 323-217-6560.

Chinatown: Thanks to 643 North, you can now find Italian food in Chinatown. The once sleepy section of downtown L.A. is burgeoning with new options, and 643 North very much represents the neighborhood’s continual transformation. Caterer Michael Ourieff is behind operations at 643 while chef Oz Ramuco (Faux Pas) runs the kitchen. Far Bar’s Adam Acuff created the beverage list which includes 12 taps, craft cocktails, and spiked Demitasse coffee drinks.  » 643 North, 643 N. Spring St., Chinatown, 213-687-8888.

Beverly Hills: A bit of L.A. history has been reborn in the form of the revamped La Dolce Vita. One of the Rat Pack’s former haunts, La Dolce Vita officially reopened last night. The menu’s not much different: Italian with some modern touches (notably, a fontina burger). The brass bar serves an updated Old Fashioned—blood orange bitters and muddled blackberries wake up the otherwise too-sweet drink. » La Dolce Vita, 9785 Santa Monica Blvd., Beverly Hills, 310-278-1845.

Downtown: Westwood’s TLT Food has spawned a sister operation downtown. Chef Daniel Shemtob’s newest lime green restaurant occupies the space next door to Silo Bar, and a partnership has formed between the two businesses. Patrons at Silo Bar can order anything off of TLT’s menu. Weekend brunch service arrives later this month. » TLT Food, 225 W. 7th St., Downtown, 213-377-5333.

Culver City: There’s a new vegan option on the Westside: Echo Park’s Sage Organic Vegan Bistro opens a new location in Culver City tonight. Vegan eats are served for lunch and dinner daily. Weekend brunch, late night hours, and a beer garden are all to come. KindKreme serves vegan ice cream for dessert. » Sage Organic Vegan Bistro, 4114 Sepulveda Blvd Culver City, 213-989-1718.
