Fall Cookbook Extravaganza
’Tis the season for delicious, inspiring reads
We don’t know about you, but come fall we get a certain itch. It’s a particular inkling that finds us browsing farmers’ markets with increased vigor, embarking on new cooking projects, and standing over a pot of something rich and warm and flavorful for hours on end—and then devouring that something. In our October issue we highlight a handful of new L.A.-centric cookbooks that aid in our favorite seasonal activity, including works by New Yorker writer Dana Goodyear, confectioner Valerie Gordon, and Kogi king Roy Choi.
