LAMag Social Hour at Grand Central Market – 2/12 
Join us next Wednesday when we take over Grand Central Market to host an exclusive tasting of wine, beer, and small bites. For $20, ticket holders travel through the market with Digest bloggers Caroline on Crack, Bill Esparza, and Eddie Lin while sampling the wares from seven participating vendors. Dine L.A. Extended at Scarpetta — 2/5 - 13
Dine L.A. may be over for most of the city’s restaurants, but Scarpetta is extending the deal. Guests can continue to enjoy the tasting menu for $45, which includes a choice of starter, entrée, and dessert. Wine flights are available for an additional $20 to $30. Reservations are recommended. Butchery Classes at Lindy & Grundy — 2/6 
The Fairfax butcher shop teaches a hands-on poultry fabrication class. Learn how to truss, quarter, and cook a chicken, with a few extra pointers. Classes are $150 and include two chickens to take home. Call to reserve a spot. More information.

Chocolate and Cheese Pairing at Chocovivo — 2/7
The artisanal chocolate shop hosts a cheese and wine flight night to welcome their soon-to-be neighbor Wheel House Cheese. The $20 tasting features five chocolates, three cheeses, and seasonal fruits. Reservations can be made online. More information.

L.A.'s First Underground Market — 2/8
Dozens of new food entrepreneurs will come out  to showcase their dishes and speciality products at a members-only event. Become a member by signing a waiver at laundergroundmarket.com and receive the location and password Friday evening. Members will get a chance to purchase tastes ranging from $1-$5. More information
