Downtown: Tom Ryan's build-your-own pizza and burger concepts, Live Basil Pizza and Smashburger, are coming to L.A. Live. Go ahead, get the fried egg and the guac. » 1011 S Figueroa St, Ste B101, Downtown, 90015.

Anaheim: Honda Center's newest Wolfgang Puck-run eatery Puck's Tavern opened doors this week. The stadium-influenced menu includes dishes like poutine (an homage to hockey and Canada), sambal ginger chicken wings, and a "Tavern Burger," served on a brioche bun.
