Event Alert: Nyesha Arrington Hosts Dinner Installation

Dinner proceeds to benefit Sustainable Economic Enterprises of Los Angeles

What: Local chef Nyesha Arrington is putting her craft on display later this month as part of a dinner installation combining art and food. "Food is Art" is being described as a four-course tasting experience inspired by color. Says Arrington in a release, "Every plate is like a canvas." The dinner will benefit the Sustainable Economic Enterprises of Los Angeles (SEE-LA), which is one L.A.'s major farmers' market producers.

Apple, Yuzu, Persian Cress

Nettles, Wheatberries, Pistachio Green

Calamari, Tangerine, Habanero Orange

Charcoal-Dusted Rib-Eye Black

Fourth
Date, Caramelized Honey, Sea Salt Earth Tones

When: Sunday, January 19 (two seatings: 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.), and Monday, January 20 (7 p.m.)
Where: The Farmer's Kitchen, 1555 Vine St #119, Hollywood.
How: "Food is Art" is $65 per guest or $85 for a seat at the chef's table. Tickets must be purchased online in advance.
