Sweet! Two New Candy Shops Are Coming Your Way, L.A.
Sugarfina opens next month in Beverly Hills; Sugar Factory opens next week at Hollywood and Highland
Two new candy shops are coming soon to L.A., proof that Angelenos have a serious sweet tooth.
Hollywood: The corner of Hollywood and Highland just got a lot sweeter. Next week, Las Vegas-based Sugar Factory—popular with celebrities like Kim Kardashian, the Hilton sisters, and rapper Nelly—opens its first L.A.-based outlet. Besides classic candies, Sugar Factory is known for their Couture Pops (a sort of fancy lollipop). In honor of their newest location, the company is releasing an Oscar Couture Pop when the store in Hollywood opens. A star-studded grand opening celebration is planned for November 13. » 6933 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, sugarfactory.com.
Beverly Hills: Sugarfina, a gourmet candy project from Malibu-based owners and couple Rosie O'Neill and Josh Resnick, will open its first brick and mortar store next month on South Santa Monica Boulevard in downtown Beverly Hills. Known for their Tiffany-blue boxes tied up with white satin string, classy licorice, and custom gummy bears, the new shop will also feature a tasting bar and offer custom gift packages. » 9495 S.
