OKTOBERFEST Pumpkin Carving and special Burger at Plan Check Kitchen + Bar
From October 17 – October 20 (3 – 6 p.m.), carve pumpkins at Plan Check on Sawtelle. The second annual pumpkin carving will feature prizes from the chef, awarded on Halloween. Not in a carving kind of mood? Chef Ernesto Uchimura is serving a special burger for the rest of this month. RAY's & STARK BAR: "The Wurst Halloween Party Ever"
This epic feast starts off with a deep fried stuffed whole hog’s head delicately carved with a chainsaw by Executive Chef Kris Morningstar. CINCO (G)HOSTS Dia de Los Muertos
To celebrate Mexico's famous Day of the Dead, Cinco in Westchester will erect a traditional alter for patrons to pay tribute to their loved ones. Menu specials include Tacos de Pollo con Mole Negro (2 for $8), Mole Memelas ($10), and Enchiladas de Pollo con Mole with rice and beans ($13).
