We love a good homecoming. Theo Schoenegger, former executive chef at Patina and currently of Encore’s Sinatra restaurant in Las Vegas, is rolling out a series of multi-course Italian tasting menus at his old stomping grounds in the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Meals range from $70 per person to $115 per person—the higher of which will feature six courses, including a blueberry and porcini risotto, 36-hour braised veal, and citrus carpaccio. La Feria De Los Moles — 10/6
Since 2008, La Feria de Los Moles has debated one of the food world’s most controversial issues: which Mexican state has the best mole. This year, Puebla, Oaxaca, Tlaxcala, and Guerrero will battle it out along Olvera Street for spiced sauce domination.
