Use this marinade recipe to add Japanese flair to whatever you throw on the grill, or, opt for Kuniko’s preferred protein: short ribs.
8 ounces short ribs or other protein (i.e. chicken, steak, etc.)
1 ¼ cups apple juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 1/3 tablespoons lemon juice
4 green onions
3 garlic cloves
2 teaspoons grated ginger
2 teaspoons sesame oil
Combine ingredients and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least
four hours, or overnight, before grilling.
