What the heck is going on with classic restaurants in the Valley? First, we hear that  51-year-old North Hollywood mainstay Henry's Tacos is closing at the end of the year, then we get word of Du-Par's in Studio City temporarily closing due to a small fire.

Now, news comes in that Kitchen Nightmares alum La Frite Cafe in Woodland Hills is also shutting down on December 31, after 40 years of service. All is not lost however; the La Frite outpost in Sherman Oaks will remain open with promises of expansion. [My Daily Find, via Eater LA]
