’s reopening Tuesday marked a new beginning for the restaurant: after an extensive renovation, the upscale seafood spot welcomes new Executive Chef Damon Gordon. The Brit will fill the opening left by Amanda Baumgarten of Top Chef and previously David LeFevre, who left the restaurant in September 2010 to open MB Post. Gordon’s resume includes New York’s Mix and Ono at the Hotel Gansevoort, Damon Gordon’s Quarter Kitchen at the Ivy Hotel (San Diego), and most recently Plume at the Jefferson Hotel in Washington, DC.
