Chef Alex Reznik, who was most recently picking up a few shifts at Colonial Wine Bar on Melrose, has just announced that he’ll be opening a new restaurant next month. Ditmas Kitchen and Cocktails is taking over the old Bocca Steakhouse on the corner of Wooster and Pico.

Set to serve contemporary American cuisine and cocktails, we’re excited to hear more about this, the first major chef-driven restaurant to open along the Kosher corridor. We liked what Reznik did at La Seine, so Ditmas sounds promising.
