The woman who taught us how to use tomatillos 20 years ago is doing the same with za’atar and lemongrass. In her new cookbook, Street Food, Susan Feniger culls the global recipes from her Hollywood restaurant, Street. Along with instructions on pickling Japanese vegetables and glazing Korean short ribs, the book features Feniger’s travelogues, which tell of mussel harvesting in India and dodging bikes in Ho Chi Minh City.
