So Green: Matt Damon and Hayden Panettiere Save The Planet


Not many award shows are held outside but that is exactly where the Environmental Media Association throws their annual award ceremony on the back lot of Warner Brothers studios. Their afterparty is so green that any leftover food is even donated to the homeless through the Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition. Damon (how much do you love that he lives here now?) accepted a pat on the back (Ongoing Commitment Award) for his work co-founding and Panettiere accepted (Futures Award) for her work with the Whaleman Foundation. I remember years ago watching film of Panettiere protesting Japanese fisherman killing dolphins on her surfboard floating in the water red with blood. She’s the real deal.
