My LA to Z: Wolfgang Puck

When chef Wolfgang Puck isn’t preparing the dishes at one of his iconic L.A. restaurants, he’s out enjoying the “perfect” climate or finding “the most wonderful ingredients.” Here he lists a few of his favorite places to dine (where someone else is doing the cooking)

AOC

They serve everything in small portions, just the way I like it—especially for late at night.

Valentino

I love the exciting Italian cooking and fabulous wine list. My favorite dish is Tagliatelle with White Truffles.

Osteria Angelini

Great for kids as well as grown-ups. My favorite dish is Whole Branzino Roasted in Sea Salt.  I often go on a Sunday with my wife and two younger sons, and we call ahead so when we arrive the chef has the food ready for the boys.

Matsuhisa

Nobu Matushisa's restaurant on La Cienega is a must for anybody who loves Japanese food. Though the traditional sushi is always the freshest and of the best quality, I especially like his exciting fusion dishes which combine the best of the east and the best of the west.

Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market

When I'm in town, I try to go to the Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market every Sunday morning.  Both of my younger sons, Oliver and Alexander, love to taste strawberries, cherries and carrots, just the way I do.
