Kiehls and Project Angel Food

The new Manhattan Beach store opens with a pledge to charity

True Blood’s Sam Trammell and The Good Wife’s Alan Cumming (an all around fabulous guy) popped by the brand spanking new Kiehls store in Manhattan Village (Manhattan Beach) to lend some star support. 1% of all purchases at the store (in 2012) will go to Project Angel Food, a charity that delivers meals to people affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses. People lined up to get in and the first 50 received a freebie Ultra Facial Cleanser and Lip Balm #1 and some pampering inside. Cumming and Trammell helped Chris Salgardo (prez of Kiehl’s USA) cut the ribbon out front. Is it just me or does Salgardo’s shirt looks like it has a gun holster attached to it, like the kind detectives sport under their coats? Kiehls always throws great bashes for store openings. Their last charitable-minded ‘do, at the Santa Monica, store drew Michael C. Hall and Chloe Sevigny.

So thought it was you under the flannel in the Pampering picture? Were you one of the first inside to get some pampering?
