Glow-sticks, hard beats, and smooth moves. This past weekend ravers, dancers, DJs, and bands brought the party to L.A. State Historic Park for Hard Day of the Dead, celebrating the Mexican holiday by blasting electronic dance music like there’s no tomorrow. Headliners Skrillex, Nero, Boys Noize, Deadmau5, and Bloody Beetroots lit up all 32 acres of the park, located just north of downtown L.A., but the bands weren’t the only ones bringing the fun: Revelers also got dressed up in spooky, sexy, and downright strange getups. Check out Steve Appleford’s photos from the EDM event of the year.
