WHAT: Who says there are no second acts in American lives? Andrew Mason, the dude who founded Groupon then got fired when the company's value tanked, has a new career: musician. Today he released Hardly Workin', an album of "business motivational tunes."
VERDICT: Most people do it the other way around: They follow their dream of becoming an artist (or a musician or an actor) then fall back on a practical career. Mason is forging another path, and we salute hm. Otherwise he has executed a brilliant prank. No one would actually release a song called "My Door Is Always Open"... would they?
