Doomsday came and went. What better way to celebrate an apocalypse-free existence than with a new year’s eve blowout? The Los Angeles party scene is ripe with opportunities to dance and drink as you bid adieu to 2012. If Y2K inspired you to party like it’s 1999, maybe the dawning of 2013 will go down as the night you partied like the world was going to end -- again.

NYE 2013 with Jeff Goldblum
WHERE: Crustacean (Beverly Hills)

Enjoy a prix fixe meal as this celebrity hotspot while Jeff Goldblum (yes, that Jeff Goldbum) croons along with his jazz band, Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. More information.

New Year’s Eve Ballroom Blitz with Redd Kross & The Melvins
