Show: Everyman’s Infinite Art
Location: Guggenheim Gallery, Chapman University
What to expect: Everyman’s Infinite Art is a restaging of an exhibit produced in 1966 by Chapman University’s department of art chair, Harold Gregor. It’s comprised of everyday objects—envelopes, soup cans, even ping-pong balls—and explores the line between art and non-art. The items used in the exhibit are all unique, simple in shape, and easily available in hardware or department store. They are also largely free of branding.
And while you’re there…: You can grab a cup of joe at the Chapman Coffee House located nearby at the intersection of Glassvell and Walnut.
