Long freed from the clutches of Phil Spector and charting her own destiny, Ronnie Spector is coming to town. The lead singer of 1960s girl group the Ronettes and the voice behind such hits as “Be My Baby” and “Baby, I Love you” has a one-woman show, Ronnie Spector: Beyond the Beehive, that incorporates songs, anecdotes, and some dark stories about her marriage to the legendarily controlling Spector. But that’s all in the past and these days, Ronnie seems happy, healthy, and thrilled to be performing. You can catch her next week at the El Rey Theatre, where she’s playing Monday and Tuesday night. We’re giving away two pairs of tickets to see her on Monday, October 28.

Want to win one of the two pairs of tickets we’ll be giving away? Enter here before Sunday, October 27 at midnight.
