“I was a reporter for the L.A. Times for ten years,” Hamilton says. “I would come into the office every day and be sent out on an assignment. I never knew whether I was going to go interview a millionaire in Malibu or homeless people camped out in the L.A. River. I’m an L.A. native and fascinated by Los Angeles. I guess you could say L.A. is my muse, or at times it is a femme fatale—bewitching and mysterious.
