Silver Lake has always tilted more farro than flesh. With Black Hogg, the neighborhood's carnivores have something to hone their canines on. Chef-owner Eric Park comes to us from New York's renowned Spotted Pig, and the gastropub's mascot rears its snout in almost everything, from deep-fried morsels of slab bacon dubbed “popcorn bacon” to braised pork belly tacos to a cast iron-seared Cuban-style pork chop that renews our faith in the cut.
