Best Dog Boutique, August 2011
Dogs will melt at the unconditional love of Woof owner Diane Serafino, and we admire the Atwater Village shop's commitment to buying American. Still, the hottest canine scene is downtown. Pussy & Pooch
might take up a corner of skid row, but it's as hip as a Cedd Moses enterprise, boasting a food bar, the latest accessories, a potty station (we kid you not), a gourmet food store, and a bathhouse. We fell for the line of long-lasting stuffed animals—rated on a scale of one to eight for durability—and for the ergonomically correct rubber leads from Wacky Walk'r that look (and feel) like Play-Doh. We were surprised, however, to not see more for cats.
