Best Shoe Repair, August 2011
Ask folks at the Christian Louboutin boutique whom they’d entrust to unscuff their pricey red-soled heels, and they’ll tell you Pasquale Shoe Repair. While other cobblers can be gruff or slapdash, Pasquale Fabrizio’s friendly crew does meticulous work. Fabrizio’s family has been in business since the glory days of Cary Grant and Frank Sinatra (note the autographed pics on the walls), and his shop revives footwear from customers all over the country. With a cozy café along a courtyard, this is also one of the few shoe repair spots where, latte in hand, you’ll enjoy hanging out. As for those Louboutins, a refinish will set you back $66.
