Best Eyebrow Wax in a Homey Setting, August 2011

 

The London-trained makeup artist Juliana Landis converted the 1908 carriage house behind her stately Windsor Square home into a studio for brow and lash treatments. The original woodwork in the upstairs loft has been painted a glossy white, the better to float in as Landis applies her signature pink wax.
