OK, so it’s not completely pain free. But the ouch factor is minimized at European Wax Center. All four L.A. locations of the chain use a French-made hard wax that’s infused with lavender for its soothing properties. It grabs the hair and not the skin, dialing down the hurt. We love the Woodland Hills location, which has the skilled ministrations of Marie and a pleasing interior that belies the strip mall location.
