You want a piece of this. The Mini Cake Museum has been curated over many years by Frances Kuyper, a woman who left behind a vaudeville career to spend the next five decades amassing more than 150 confections and more than 500 cake-decorating books. Her museum displays the best of the delicacies (preserved as objects—look, but do not eat), and she gives demonstrations. Originally located in a house owned by Kuyper, the museum moved to the Hollenbeck Palms retirement facility when she did. It is open by appointment only.
