Roller derby is a sport in which tough, smokin’ women circle a ring on skates—gracefully yet guerrilla-like—and plow into one another. The orientation of the 120 athletes in the L.A. Derby Dolls league is anyone’s guess, but the audience at the Doll Factory rink in Westlake is always packed with amped-up lesbians.
