Best Linens, August 2012
It's pretty fancy-schmancy, and lots of interior designers shop here, but don't be intimidated by Between the Sheets. Unlike at big-box or department stores, the staff is happy to clarify such mysteries as thread count (the higher the count, the heavier the sheets) and cotton types (spring for Giza if you can). The shop carries the labels Fortenza, Nobile, and Parigi, but most of the bedding is the house brand. Made in Italy, the linens come in shades of white and cream with subtle accents; they're so luxurious, you may want to pet them. A complete set, with duvet, can cost $1,500, but you'll rest easy come nighttime. » 370 N. Robertson Blvd., West Hollywood.
