Profile

The Hollywood Bowl is one of the largest natural outdoor amphitheaters in the world. From its very first season performance in 1922, it has been a renowned Southern Californian locale where Angelenos have gathered to picnic and enjoy music under the stars. The Hollywood Bowl is the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic has become an established part of Hollywood culture, hosting numerous televised concerts and events.

He writes the songs that make the whole world sing, and on the Fourth at the Hollywood Bowl, Barry Manilow performs many of them as well as traditional patriotic numbers. He'll be accompanied by the L.A. Philharmonic and a surprise “special guest.” The concert starts at 7:30, and the rockets' red glare lights up the Bowl after sundown.

If the proximity of the Super Seats to the sound booth isn't hint enough, their name should be. The plastic folding seats with cup holders are in the Bowl's midsection, between the boxes and the benches. Here acoustics and sight lines are optimal. For example, seats 105 and 106—at the center of row 1, section H—are only $45 each for Beck's show in September.
