When Edward Belden puts the pedal to the metal, he does something far sweeter than going from 0 to 60: He creates freshly churned ice cream. in flavors like Mexican chocolate, salted caramel, and Thai iced tea. After two years spent rolling around town on a custom-built tricycle rigged with a Country Freezer ice cream maker, Belden is taking his Peddler’s Creamery off-road and hopes to open a storefront in downtown’s Historic Core neighborhood before the end of the year.
