Sriracha Mania: Huy Fong Foods is Offering Free Factory Tours

Hot hot heat

Did the temporary Sriracha shortage have you seeing red? Worry not, Sriracha fiends! Huy Fong Foods has recently settled into a new factory. To celebrate, ownership is inviting fans (and even neighbors who happen to love the smell of the spicy sauce) to tour the now world famous factory in Irwindale.

In a letter sent to select fans, Huy Fong Foods writes:

After many months of transitioning from Rosemead and testing our new equipment, we are pleased to announce that we are now ready to invite visitors to our new building in Irwindale. Therefore, if you are interested in seeing how our Sriracha is made and how delicious it smells, we would cordially like to invite you, at your convenience, to see our facility during our regular office visiting hours, which is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm. Please feel free to call customer service (626) 286-8328 to schedule an appointment. We look forward to seeing you.

Best regards,

So get on it, rooster heads! There’s no telling how long this invitation will stand. Chances are, you might even get to taste fresh Sriracha as it comes off the conveyor belt… mmmm…

At this point they are taking names and numbers and saying they’ll contact you “when an appointment becomes available.” Don’t know if that means they are already booked or just not prepared to actually schedule these visits yet.

Congrats on the move! I’m excited to see the new facilities. Your sauce has been a favorite of mine for years, and all of us foodies love and use it all the time.

I would like to come in ASAP, and while there, who can I speak with regarding who runs your payroll? I used to work with one of the major payroll service providers, and have found a better priced, higher service payroll company.

Hope to speak with your company soon, and come in for the tour!
