12th Annual Feast of San Gennaro – 9/26-29
Kicking off October’s Italian Heritage Month, the Feast of San Gennaro returns to Hollywood with food, music, carnival rides, games, and more. The festivities begin with an opening gala Thursday night hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla and featuring a silent auction and poker tournament. More information.

Not Your Average Oktoberfest at Eagle Rock Brewery – 9/27
Eagle Rock Brewery wants to put a twist on your run-of-the-mill Oktoberfest celebrations. This Friday, the taproom will be transformed into a sudsy carnival complete with a beer pairing booth hosted by Evan George and Alex Brown of Hot Knives, food trucks, a photo booth, a brewer arm wrestling invitational, and more. More information.

National Drink Beer Day Menu at the Churchill – 9/28
Celebrate beer drinking (do we need an excuse?) with a special pairing dinner by Churchill’s executive chef Michael Bryant. The four-course meal will offer such dishes as roasted cauliflower and romanesco with scrimshaw pilsner and pumpkin sage gnocchi with red seal pale ale. LA Loves Alex’s Lemonade – 9/28
The 4th annual LA Loves Alex’s Lemonade cookout, taking place at the Culver Studios Mansion, will bring together chefs like Jon Shook, April Bloomfield, Adam Perry Lang, and Matt Accarrino for a good cause. All proceeds from the event will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which helps fund child cancer research. More information.

Seven-Year Anniversary at The Oinkster – 9/28
It’s been seven years since Oinkster first started busting guts with its Fieri-approved pastrami sandwiches and Piggy Fries that put In-N-Out to shame. All day Saturday indulge in some grease-soaked nostalgia with a few old favorites like the Pastrami Burger and “Big Max” (their super-sized take on McDonald’s star player) and catch a sneak peek of a new side dish that will be featured exclusively at the upcoming Hollywood location. Cultivate LA Food and Wine Fundraiser for United Friends of the Children – 9/28
Calling all aspiring philanthropists: grub down and drink up as part of a benefit for local foster kids at this year’s Cultivate LA Food and Wine Fundraiser. Unfolding at the Pritzker estate in Beverly Hills, the charity dinner will feature more than 50 food and wine vendors from across L.A., as well as a book signing from Top Chef Masters’ Curtis Stone. Los Angeles First Annual Thai Food Festival – 9/29
