L.A. Film Fest Welcomes Michael Voltaggio

We’d venture to say that edible art is the best kind. Among the musicians, artists, and writers at this year’s Los Angeles Film Festival, chef Michael Voltaggio of ink. has been chosen as an Artist in Residence along with musician/composer Danny Elfman and singer/songwriter Raphael Saadiq. The festival, which runs June 14-24, traditionally selects notables from fields other than film to serve as artists in residence and share a film that has inspired them or influenced their work. “The festival is hosting a broad spectrum of talent across all disciplines,” festival director Stephanie Allain said in a press release. Voltaggio will present a screening of Bob Giraldi’s Dinner Rush on June 20 at 7:50 p.m., followed by a conversation with the chef.
