Where to Find L.A.’s Most Adorable Valentine’s Day Treats

Nothing says “I love you” like a heart-shaped pizza

Coupled-up or blissfully single, there is one thing we can definitely all agree on about Valentine’s Day: it gives chefs and bakers an excuse to make some really cute foods. We’re pretty obsessed with all these heart-shaped, pink-frosting-smeared, sprinkle-topped, glitter-dusted confections. So, while you certainly could show your Valentine how much you care with red roses or a gourmet meal, if you really want to up the “awwwww” factor, here’s what you need.

Yeah, it’s called “Cupid Poop.” It’s fine. A Valentine-only edition of FrankieLucy’s signature meringue dessert known as Unicorn Poop, these sweet, crunchy sugar treats are adorable and maybe a little weird, just like your love. (3116 Sunset Blvd., Silver Lake)

Roses and Rosé Bar from Compartés

Every bar of Compartés chocolate comes wrapped in a super-cute wrapper, but their Valentine-appropriate Roses and Rosé flavor shows that true beauty is on the inside. The bakery’s website allows you to send a custom message along with a certificate they can bring into the Brentwood shop to exchange for a heart-shaped hand pie, fresh from the oven. Macarons are adorable to begin with, plus they make us think of Paris, which is obviously romantic, right? Stop into one of French chain Ladurée’s three local locations and pick up a pre-made Valentine box or, make your own custom assortment. (189 The Grove Drive, Fairfax; 311 N.
