13th Annual Tree Lighting Concert
The Citadel will put up what it claims is the world’s tallest Christmas tree this weekend. At 115-feet, it’s pretty tall. Attendees can enjoy free performances by Romeo, Josh Levi, Cimorelli, Christina Grimmie, and Jana Kramer.
12th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Spectacular
Nov. 16, 7:30 p.m.
Get ready for the return of Santa. The annual tree lighting includes a live show overseen by Emmy-winning producer Brad Lachman as well as water show with multicolored lights at the Grove’s famous fountain.

150,000 lights will brighten Rodeo Drive. The ceremony will feature the return of French luxury lifestyle brand Baccarat, which will hang 16 chandeliers over the famous street.

Real live reindeer come to town for petting sessions with kids and their parents. The L.A. Zoo puts on its holiday swag and invites visitors to meet North American caribou. Visits with Santa (on selected dates) and holiday treats round out the holiday experience.

Woodbury of the Woodbury Family, the founders of Altadena, planted 134 trees along the road. Since 1920, Altadena residents have carried the tradition to welcome visitors to the once-a-year holiday kick-off ceremony.
