I recently came across this Juice Served Here takeout window on my 3.5-mile ride to work. (JSH shops have been popping up all over the city; this one’s at the corner of West 3rd Street and Orlando Avenue in West Hollywood.) I’m committed to walking and biking wherever I can, and it’s not often that I discover a street feature that’s designed especially for me (and OK, other car-free travelers, too). I didn’t even have to lock up my bike to pick up a latte and charcoal lemonade. As L.A. as cold-pressed juice might sound, discovering a curbside bar with no parking lot in sight was even more refreshing than my joe and juice.
