VIDEO: Surfers Rescue Baby Shark in Venice
A baby great white shark was rescued by Venice beachgoers on Saturday after it was dragged to the shore by a fishing hook. The rescuers, who were caught on tape, eventually lead the shark back into the water.

Cirque du Soleil ‘Iris’ opens at Kodak Theatre
The new movie-themed Cirque du Soleil show, “Iris,” opened at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday night. “Iris” is scheduled to run for ten years at the Kodak Theatre.

Six children injured in Lancaster crash; driver charged with DUI
A woman and her six children (ages ranging from 10 months to 11 years old) were in a rollover car crash Sunday in which all seven were injured. The woman was arrested on suspicion of driving her 2002 Toyota Sequoia under the influence. Two children were airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital with major injuries including head trauma and the driver and four other children were taken to the same hospital by ambulance with minor to moderate injuries.

Magic carpet malfunctions at Disney’s Aladdin show in Anaheim
Aladdin and Jasmine were left hanging by their harnesses when a magic carpet malfunctioned during a “Disney’s Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular” performance at California Adventure in Anaheim on Sunday. The show was stopped and the audience members were evacuated. Luckily, there were no injuries.
