Although historians dispute the pomp and pageantry (and even the date) of the birth of El Pueblo de la Reina de Los Angeles, generations have marked September 4, 1781 as the day our pueblo was founded. I’ve been celebrating with my DispL.A. Case project, explaining the city through objects. You should get out and enjoy the city.
