A Walker in L.A: The City In Lights

Los Angeles is extra lovely decked in hues of red, green, blue, and white

Wilshire and Berendo, Koreatown

Thanks to the past week’s cooler temps, I’m finally in the spirit of the season. I have a tradition for this time of year: During the days between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I head out each night for a brisk, quick walk to survey, document, and share the holiday decorations near my home. If I'm already out and about when it gets dark, I keep my eyes peeled on my way. I was headed to the H.M.S. Bounty in Koreatown earlier this week when I snapped these municipal additions to the historic lampposts. Even the bus lane gets to dress up for the holidays! I've tagged this and the other holiday photos I’ve taken #25daysofchristmaslights on Instagram, and a few other users have joined in—tag yours, too!
