Talk about a direct hit. Metrolink has partnered with AEG, the developers of Farmers Field and owners of Staples Center, Nokia Theatre, and L.A. Live, to devise a five-county transportation plan to encourage visitors to use public transportation when coming and going from their properties.
Specific incentives have not been announced, but a release says the plans include bundling of transit passes with event tickets and discounted tickets to Los Angeles Kings games for fans who use public transportation.
We'd pass on Farmers Field, but we think riding the rails is great. And discounts aren’t half bad, either.
