Armored cars seem to park wherever they want. Are they exempt from regulations?

Unless you’re driving an ambulance, fire truck, or police car, there’s no free pass. In defense of those manning the rolling bank vaults, no one holding bags of cash likes a long walk to the car. It’s bad enough with a load of groceries. So armored car drivers take the citations on the chin. “FedEx gets more tickets than we do,” says Dunbar spokesman Ricardo Renteria. “But that’s the cost of doing business.”
